This is my third tattoo. It means the second most to me, other than my first (“in search of Sandra” on my right forearm, for my biological mother - I was adopted). This bird is the Quetzal, the national bird of Guatemala, where I was born. It means a lot to me because I don’t really have the heritage that I was born into, so my right arm is the homage to my homeland and the life I don’t have. When I have children, I’m going to get small baby birds flying around the head, as to symbolize the family that I’ve always felt I’ve missed….
The Simpsons is my favorite TV show and Milhouse basically captures who I am. It also helps that I am a vegan and drink soy milk!
